‚Rise Of Angel‘ is an epic slice of modern dance music, simply Balearic, positive, light, and intentional. Luciano is doing some magic with soft percussion and organic beats. For the many thousands of fans who have made the pilgrimage to Luciano’s weekly Ushuaia sessions and Vagabundos at Pacha, or the Cadenza parties around Europe and North America, this track has already become the signature tune in Luciano’s sets.
For the remixes, the Cadenza label owner has kept it in the family, enlisting the duties of fellow Cadenza artists Mirko Loko, UNER and Andrea Oliva to all lend their unique production styles to a solid set of reinterpretations. Mirko Loko is adding a bit more beats, UNER weighs in with a dubbed out, rolling drum version, and Andrea Oliva goes straight for the 4/4 jugular with a remix that builds solid tribal to a crescendo.
‚Rise Of Angel‘ is Luciano’s first release on his own imprint since 2010 (Lucien-N-Luciano, ‚Cuidad De Luz‘ EP). The forthcoming album will his second full length collection (following 2009’s ‘Tribute To The Sun’), and Cadenza will celebrate its 10th anniversary, so the future certainly looks bright for the Chilean-Swiss producer and DJ.
