Solomun’s record label Diynamic has been granting the world with quality music productions for years, but it is this year that marks a new revolution of sound by the kid wonder, David August, and his debut album release “Times”.

A musical tale of time and talent from August’s personal experience and background, the fourteen tracks album introduces him to the electronic world with his organic and peculiar sound of love. The album is a melodic journey through “Times”, and starting this time line is “Help Me Through”, a trippy, colorful, and dreamy introduction to the appealing sound of the following tracks, which will leave you breathless.

‘Times” is an emotional voyage that shimmers playfully with darkness and light. The album is an insightful journey into August’s world – a defined and compelling universe. It presents a colourful musical spectrum through to the epic finale, the dreamy electronica outro of “Forgive me if I bleed” that can’t fail to leave the listener breathless and truly captivated.

The 22 year old musician, currently living in Berlin and attending “Tonmeister” musical school, demonstrates his training and passion for instruments all throughout the album. This journey through the talent of David August is a complex combination of contemporary sound. “Hommage” featuring Wanja highlights his clarinet skills in a colorful combination of sounds. In the magical collaboration “Until We Shine” featuring Yvy, the vocal is in perfect tranquillity with the melody, rhythm, and structure of the track, which makes it a captivating end product.

“I wanted to combine all my musical experience in my debut“, August says of “Times”. It’s a logical conclusion that this project is different from most in the electronic realm as its variety and complex tonal combinations mark the arrival of a one-of-a-kind contemporary artist.
