Apollonia – Creative Collective with a Charming Charisma

Connoisseurs in wine, love and kissing, the French have something else to be proud of. Under the name of Apollonia, the sweethearts of house and the ever growing label of Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky, are bringing some hotness to DC10 for a one night showcase extravaganza.

Recently formed, but all no strangers to the industry, the trio has been pleasing the world with their signature sound and charming charisma in the last years. If you haven’t heard their melodic and funky sets or experienced their contagious energy on the dancefloor, you have simply missed an experience of a lifetime.

Established under the simple conditions of friendship and respect, Apollonia has become one of the most respected and well-recognized labels in the diverse industry of electronic music. 2012 marked the birth of a brand that gained global recognition as a creative collective.

After touring the world together and bonding even further under the groove, the inevitable next step was a highly anticipated production of the first Apollonia EP. Spending a cold Berlin month locked together in a studio, the winter labor gave birth to the first official production, followed by a request to compile the Fabric 70 compilation.

Their first tracks “Trinidad” and “Visa Americain” are described as “hypnotic, mood evoking floor shakers”, reflecting Apollonia’s passion for music and the energy that is echoed through their DJ sets.

Apollonia is taking over DC10 once again this August and will be responsible for a lot of sweaty dancing. Well experienced behind the decks and no strangers to the venue from their past residencies, the club has become their summer home and awarded their loyalty with a second round of Apollonia showcase.

Expect more funk, sexy rhythm and some serious bass lines, taking turns and twists for a voyage through the roots of house music. More boogies for the love of house, for the love of life, for the love of Apollonia.

All night long at DC10 on Saturday, August 24
