Space Ibiza is touring around the globe and expanding to new territories. A big Space festival is planned for NYD 2013 in Sidney with Kerri Chandler, Carl Craig and Mathew Johnson. Just around the corner, in Brazil, a whole new venue is opening under the umbrella of the prestigious nightclub.
Space Brazil Opening with Carl Cox
In Brazil electronic music lovers are getting ready for a ground-breaking Space experience. On Saturday, 29th of December 2012, techno legend and owner of Intec Records, Carl Cox, arrives for the exclusive presentation of the first Space club in the Americas.
The King of Techno visits Brazil to play together with Josh Wink, Mark Kinght, Nic Fanciulli and Ali from the Tiefschwarz brothers at the official Space Brazil club opening party in Camboriú. It doesn’t matter how many words we use to describe Carl Cox, none can express the impact this giant from London has had in electronic music around the world for more than 20 years.
The line up is completed with a range of excellent artists as Robert Dietz, Yousef, Stefano Noferini, Rene Amesz, Camilo Franco (Space Ibiza Resident), Maycon Schramm (Space Brazil Camboriú Resident), Dekko and Carlo Dall Anese.
Illustrations of Space Camboriú show an architectural concept inspired by the island of Ibiza and by the “mother ship” Space itself, with white in predominance and an imposing entrance. Designed by Gastão Lima, the building is integrated into the local landscape and consists of two main dance floors and a large parking area. To develop the concept, the architect had spend one entire season in Ibiza to do research.
Right after the opening party a couple of some more extravagant club events are scheduled at Space Brazil. On Wednesday, 2nd of January 2013, clubbers will get excited to see Arno Cost, Audiofly, Life is a Loop and Marco Loco behind the decks. On Saturday, 5th of January 2013, French house producer Bob Sinclar is bringing some disco fever to the new venue in Camboriú.
Space NYD Festival in Australia
As part of their world tour, Space Ibiza will celebrate its fourth event in the harbour city of Australia. With a huge international line up this spectacular outdoor event is running from midday to 23:00, promising to step up again in terms of production. The idea is to replicate that special vibe from Ibiza and set up a party worthy of Space Ibiza’s reputation (this year recognized as “Best Global Club” by DJ MAG and the prestigious IDMA awards).
The Greenwood is an ideal location for holding events of this dimension and will bring together all electronic music fans to experience once more one of the most important electronic music events in Sydney.
Kerri Chandler, known throughout the world as one of the first creators of the Deep House sound, and the electronic music hero from Detroit, Carl Craig, will be the outstanding artists of the night next to Mathew Jonson, Pig & Dan, Franck Roger, Lee M Kelsall & Garry Todd. Space Ibiza resident Remo (from the Thursday summer parties Kehakuma during the last three years) completes this line up.
Spread over 5 different areas this array of amazing international and local artists will be spinning the best in electronic house and techno, bringing together a crowd of clubbing enthusiasts from around the world.
