October is just around the corner and Closing Parties are cooking up to be bigger than ever in Ibiza this year and Next Wave’s final festivities are adding up to the party equation in style.
The date is October 2nd, the place is Moma Club in Playa den Bossa and the line up including some of the most forward thinking, boundary pushing and absolutely mind-blowing sounds of Ricardo Villalobos and the Romanian boys of RPR Soundsystem.
Next Wave represents “no philosophy, just music” and this believe is underlined in the upcoming closing party. Main men, Ian F and Valentino Kanzyani have been keeping the underground spirit in Ibiza alive for a couple of years now through their parties. They settled at Vista Club, old Cocoloco room in Privilege, last season and threw one of the most memorable closings at the end. As this year showed some struggle for the Next Wave crew, they are climbing out of the shadows of commercialization that has been taking over the island and will be entertaining the music punters at Moma Club one last time.
Moma is located in the heart of Playa den Bossa, sideways of hotel Garbi and is the new business project involving a Madrid based group of investors and local entrepreneur. The venue opened its doors back in November and quickly gained a recognizable name through the winter months. The club has an interesting history back when it was first known as the Garbi Disco and then into Essence and La Martina, which hosted the Kehakuma party back in 2010. The venue has become a buzzing little hub and has its own unique vibe since then.
If this is not enough to get you excited the soundtrack of Ricardo Villalobos and Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu and Raresh aka RPR Soundsystem, will most likely blow you away and this party will definitely go down in the books.
Doors will open as early as midnight and go till late. There are no presale tickets, 20 Euro at the door before 2am, 25 Euro after with a complimentary drink included in the price. Get there early and stay late because this is the party you will have to tell your friends about!
You also can expect fair drink prices which can be considered as very exceptional on the island with an event providing such a first class line up. Here a few drink prices at one glance that have communicated to us recently by the event organizers: Shots / Chupito 4 Euro, Water 5 Euro, Beer 5 Euro, Combinados / Long Drinks 10 Euro
