Sayonara to another season of Sake-fuelled mayhem courtesy of techno-Shinobi Richie Hawtin. ENTER.’s fulminate second season at Space was a feast for ears and eyes.
Having adopted all five floors of the club to his purposes Hawtin provided a weekly get-together out of all proportions. The quality he brought in with guests like Dubfire, Sven Väth, Luciano, Loco Dice or Visionquest was outstanding and also in promotion he went extravagant ways with a weekly free pre-party in Platja d’en Bossa, a radio-show, forays into Jockey Club at Salinas Beach and a regular youtube-videoclip recorded at his villa pool.
To give us an experience that is unlike anything else on this island is Hawtin’s expressed goal with his ENTER. nights and he accomplished the mission. In our interview he told us that ‘one of my favourite things is giving my friends first experiences of something I already experienced and that I know they are going to like.’ So take Richie’s hand and let yourself be surprised by the no-holds-barred closing event on September 26th.
Before Hawtin’s own extended set Paco Osuna will warm up the main room and Minus label’s own Matador will perform live. On the terrace this year’s resident Maya Jane Coles spins her wonderful, deep productions for the last time, supported by Josh Wink and Hot since 82. In a sympathetic move Hawtin also invited Claude von Stroke to play, which is especially nice since with his Dirtybird party at Sankeys von Stroke was the main competitor of ENTER. on Thursdays.
We advice coming early for the closing as the Sake Bar is an absolute must: Being served an exotic Sake – cocktail maybe by Hawtin himself while German techno-hero Marcel Dettman plays a warm-up set is something you will never forget!
And who knows – with all the surprises Richie had through the season we might get an afterhour as well…
Line-Up: Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Matador (Live), Maya Jane Coles, Josh Wink, Claude von Stroke, Hot Since 82, Marcel Dettman (at Enter.Sake from 10pm), and more
