Every Saturday in August DC10 gives their infamous venue to state-of-the-art labels and artists to share their latest music with an in-the-know crowd. On August 17th DC10’s very own Three Musketeers will perform in a back2back2back extravaganza: Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Matthias Tanzmann getting it on in Ibiza’s only “Better Lost Than Stupid” showcase this summer.

Squillace and Tanzmann are undoubtedly well known among DC10 fans for their exuberant Circoloco sessions on the terrace. Excelling in over-the-edge tech-house sets, they have easily become one of the club’s favourites on the White Isle. The German Martin Buttrich on the other hand helped in establishing the productive Desolat label together with Loco Dice and is renowned for exciting live performances which graced the line-ups of Space, Sankeys and Ushuaia this season.

Being friends for almost a decade now, the three are happy to bring their “Better Lost Than Stupid” party imprint to the island’s legendary underground venue.

The original idea for their joint venture came up in a spontaneous back2back2back session at Electric Zoo in New York. “Something just clicked and every conscious thought was put on hold”, the three unanimously praise this experience.

“Our musical identities seemed to merge into one and it was exciting to be fully present together.” Clearly this had to be repeated and armed with lots of new material coming from a long overdue studio-conclave, Buttrich, Squillace and Tanzmann return to DC10.
