Hi Edu, how are you? How was your summer experience in Ibiza?
Very good! The summer is incredible, I‘m discovering the island and every day I like it more, it is also a very beneficial summer at a inspirational level and in terms of new contacts.
How is everything going for you as a DJ, and where can we see you playing this month on the island?
It‘s going great, a fantastic year for me as a DJ, I do performances at clubs like Cocoon, Ministry Of Sound, Barraca or Air Amsterdam and have toured to Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, USA or Canada, this is what I have left in memory so far! I will be playing at Space on September 23rd with my friends Uner & Coyu. You can also see me playing on the 2nd of October at the Space closing.
How does it feel to play at one of the best clubs in the world?
It‘s amazing, every detail is worked out perfectly, the soundsystem is great and the club is just beautiful!
What do you like most about Space?
The quality of the nights, each one tries to make the best of every genre so as a result they have a very good weekly diversity.
As a DJ, your job is to make people dance, right? What‘s your secret to shaking up dance floors?
I love making people dance! My secret is the energy, feeling the music and performing each session as it were the last.
As a manager of the record label Eklektisch and a person who is working every day with music, can you describe what effects music has on us?
Music is everything, I would have no better definition. A track can change your mood in 1 second, this feeling is incomparable. I love to reach people with my music and to make them feel what I feel.
Do you think that the vibration and composition of rhythms and sounds contain a special energy? And if yes, why so much in Ibiza?
Of course it has a special power, music is art and art is something that influences everything around you, your family, your friends, the sun, a positive vibe.
Ibiza has many qualities which make it a special place for music, just if you enjoy its magnificent landscapes and beaches and then go to party at the best clubs in the world, isn’t that amazing?
Talking about electronic music in particular, do you see new tendencies or production styles currently arising?
The music is constantly evolving, like everything in this world there are cycles, sometimes more minimal, more melodic, more techno, more deep. I think music with more feeling and harmony is coming back this summer. I‘ve seen the Space terrace going wild with a record that was more groovy and powerful, I can see that there is something happening, we‘ll see over the next few months!
If you have a day off, how do you start your day in Ibiza, and to which places do you go to enjoy some time?
I love to enjoy time with my friends and my girlfriend. My perfect start to the day would be to eat paella at Sa Caleta. Then to spend the afternoon at Cala Comte before watching the sunset from the Hostal La Torre or Es Vedra and to finish the night at home, preparing a barbecue for my people.

Hola Edu, ¿Cómo estás? ¿Cómo fue tu experiencia de verano en Ibiza?
Muy bien! El verano está siendo increíble, estoy descubriendo la isla y cada dia me gusta más, también está siendo un verano muy provechoso a nivel contactos y a nivel inspiracional.
¿Cómo va todo por ti como un DJ, y donde podemos verte este mesen la isla?
Está yendo genial, un año fantastico para mi como DJ, actuaciones clave en clubs como Cocoon, Ministry Of Sound, Barraca o Air Amsterdam y giras por Peru, Brasil, Colombia, Mexico, USA o Canada es lo que me queda en la memoria de lo que va de año! Estaré el 23 de septiembre en Space Ibiza junto a mis amigos Uner & Coyu. Tambien podreis encontrarme el 2 de octubre en el cierre de Space.
¿Cómo se siente tocando en una de las mejores discotecas del mundo?
Es increible, cada detalle está cuidado al máximo, el soundsystem es increible y el club es precioso!
¿Qué te gusta del Space?
La calidad de sus noches, cada una de ellas intenta sacar lo mejor de cada genero y cuenta con una diversidad semanal muy buena.
Como DJ, tu trabajo es hacer bailar a la gente¿verdad? ¿Cuál es tu secreto para sacudir las pistas de baile?
Me encanta hacer bailar a la gente! Mi secreto es la energia, el sentir la música y el vivir cada sesión como si fuera la última.
Como gerente de sello discográfico Eklektisch eres una persona que está trabajando todos los días con música, ¿puedes describir que efectos la música tiene en nosotros?
La música es todo, no tendría otra definición mejor. Un disco me puede cambiar el estado de ánimo en 1 segundo, esa sensación es incomparable. Me encanta llegar a la gente con mi música y que lleguen a sentir lo que siento yo cuando la creo.
¿Crees que la vibración y la composición de ritmos y sonidos contienen una energía especial? Y en caso afirmativo, ¿por qué tanto en Ibiza?
Por supuesto que tiene una energia especial, la música es arte, y el arte es algo en lo que influye todo, tu entorno, tu familia, tus amigos, el sol, un estado de ánimo positivo. Ibiza tiene muchas cualidades para que sea un sitio especial para la música, el poder disfrutar de sus magnificos paisajes o playas y despues poder ir a los mejores clubes del mundo es increible, no?
Hablar de música electrónica, en particular, ¿crees que hay nuevas tendencias o estilos de producción que surgen en la actualidad?
La música está en continua evolución, como todo en este mundo, son ciclos, más minimal, más melodico, más techno, más deep. En la actualidad a mi parece que la música como tal (sentimiento, harmonia) está volviendo a resurgir, este verano he visto como la terraza de Space se volvia loca con un disco que era algo más que groove y contundencia, eso me hace ver que hay algo ahi, lo veremos durante los siguientes meses!
Si tienes un día libre, ¿cómo empezas el día en Ibiza, y en que los lugares vas a disfrutar tu tiempo?
Me encanta disfrutar de mis amigos y mi novia, mi dia de descanso perfecto sería ir a comer una paella a Sa Caleta, pasar la tarde en Cala Comta, ver la puesta de sol desde el Hostal La Torre o en Es Vedrá y acabar en casa preparando una barbacoa con mi gente!
