Elrow Kehakuma Closing Party on September 27th!

“Kehakuma means a lot to me, it’s a great brand which I proudly represent and I am really honoured to do so”, told us resident DJ Javi Bora last month. It’s this pride and dedication by promoters, DJs and guests alike that make this Space party the resounding success it is.

Already one of the club’s firm institutions with six years running Kehakuma offers underground style music for the discerning house & techno lover with a keen and strict eye on quality and modernism. This summer it is joined by a one of a kind spawn of hedonistic fun – the Barcelona based elrow party. With its focus and dedication towards detailled production it is the ideal twin to Kehakuma’s reduced musical approach to partying and provides your perfect night-out on Saturdays, whether you are a tourist or an island worker on his hard-earned day off.

The double bill works like a well oiled machine: The guys at elrow do a great job in converting the revered Space main room into whatever they please. Whether it’s an alley in the Bronx, a Bollywood film or Rio’s Carnival – you’ll never know what world you’re going to enter when you open the door. This season already saw much applauded sets by very special guests Seth Troxler, 2manyDJs and Anja Schneider.
Over at Kehakuma on the terrace the biggest performances included the Visionquest crew, Marcel Dettmann and the American techno shooting star DVS1. But there is more: September is known to bring out the more advanced music lovers to our island and Kehakuma is always number one on their list. On September 13th Italian sensation Andrea Oliva will play one of his rare sets outside of Ushuaia where he is resident for the Ants party. One week later Move D will play Kehakuma on September 20th. The prolific German with his experimental sounds between House, Techno  and weirder influences is one of the season’s highlights.

The elrow crew too has still some aces up their sleeves for this coming closing month with guest performances from the festival hopping Crookers on September 6th or the English remix-king Hot since 82 one week later.

Finally, on September 27th, this season is regrettably coming to an end in an over the top, euphoric closing party bringing Frith Kalkbrenner to the main room. Elrow also have announced a very special surprise guest for this day while Levon Vincent plays the Kehakuma terrace together with resident Javi Bora, who is convinced “Kehakuma is all about musical quality and a taste for avantgarde. The aim of the party is to offer elegance, an oriental minimalism with the best house and techno.” So bring on Saturday!
